My research focuses on developing and characterizing human respiratory organoids as physiologically relevant models of airway diseases.
I investigate how closely these systems reproduce the cellular organization and mechanical properties of native respiratory tissues. By combining tissue engineering, quantitative analysis, and mechanobiological approaches, I aim to understand how mechanical cues influence epithelial behavior and disease-associated tissue remodeling.
Beyond Research: I enjoy travelling and exploring local coffee and food cultures.
