My research focuses on understanding the physical principles underlying the organization of cells and tissues.
In particular, I investigate how basal bodies become spatially organized within multiciliated cells and how distinct cell types establish characteristic patterns in mucociliary epithelia. By combining quantitative live imaging with controlled mechanical perturbations, I aim to uncover how interactions at the subcellular level give rise to collective tissue organization.
Background: I trained in bioengineering and biomedical engineering in India and Singapore before completing my PhD in Cell Physics in France.
